BERLIN STATE OPERA / STAATSOPER BERLIN

For 18 months, from 2013 to 2015, with a mobile studio set up on the landing of the stairs leading from the dressing rooms to the stage door, I captured portraits of the singers, dancers, and supporting cast of the Berlin State Opera.

Quite often I would have meer seconds to capture as image as they rushed back and forth to their performances.
