The first view of Canada was the frozen northern landscape, cracks describing waterways or possibly canyons.

Once in Vancouver I walked around, trying to shake off the jetlag, and when I was ready I went to visit my new bike for the first time. The beautiful Bonneville T120 Black with my name on a tag attached to the handle bars. I named her Plata, silver in Spanish, a name that fits the color scheme and reminds me of a dumb skit I would do with my best friend in Berlin.

The adventure began on the 17 May from Vancouver, with t short day ride in the surrounding area, where I froze due to misjudging the temperature, and the amount of clothing i would need to wear. I discovered the love of the Sasquatch, and bought myself a sweatshirt featuring one, to stop me from freezing to death.
